“

I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die. — John 11:25

“

Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.” — Revelation 14:13

“

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. — 2 Timothy 4:7–8

“

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. — Revelation 21:4

“

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. — James 1:12

In Loving Memory of Angel Some people come into our lives only for a short while, yet the impression they leave behind lasts a lifetime. Their presence touches our hearts in ways that time and distance can never erase. They may leave our sight, but they never truly leave our hearts. They are the special ones—and Angel was surely one of them. It is with a heart full of cherished memories that I remember our dear Angel. We first met at the 2024 Sharon UK Conference in Basildon. From that very first meeting, her beautiful smile stood out—a smile that brought warmth, joy, and light to everyone around her. She was always enthusiastic, lively, and full of life. Angel was also an ardent evangelist, deeply devoted to Christ and His work. One memory that will remain especially precious is her commitment to the CEM and Sunday School Youth Camp on November 1, 2025—the very day of her delivery. Even at such an important moment in her own life, she willingly allowed and encouraged her husband to serve through the music ministry and sound arrangements for the programme. That simple but profound act revealed the depth of her faith and her heart for Christ. She placed Christ and His work above everything else. There are so many beautiful memories to cherish. Though her departure leaves a space that cannot easily be filled, we are comforted by the hope we have in Christ. Angel, we will miss your radiant smile, your lively spirit, your passion for the Gospel, and your love for the Lord. We miss you, but only for a little while. Until that glorious day when we meet again across the shore, where there will be no more separation and no more tears. Rest peacefully, dear Angel, until we meet again. Your life and testimony will remain in our hearts. May God strengthen Jerome, Luca, Jerome's and Angel's family members and whole Christway church family. Angel, I don't know how to explain or express my feelings. It is so difficult to find the right words to write. You truly were a real angel. I first met you at our church in August 2022, and from that day, you became a beautiful part of our Christ Way family. I had the privilege of watching you through so many milestones in your life as a woman — your marriage, the birth of your child, and all the beautiful moments God gave you. We had so many plans and dreams ahead, but God's plan was different from ours. Although our hearts are broken, your life has left a powerful message for our Christ Way family. Your faith, your love, and your life have strengthened us. I will always remember the last words you spoke to me: "You strengthen our church." Those words will remain in my heart forever. Angel, you have now gone to be with our Lord. We will miss you deeply, but we hold on to the hope that this is not goodbye forever. We shall meet you on the other shore. Our preparation is not complete yet. When our journey here is finished and our preparation is complete, we too will join you in the presence of our Lord. Until we meet again, Angel. You will always remain a precious part of our Christ Way family.

In Loving Memory of Our Dear Sister Angel Remembering a Precious Life – Sr Angel Jerome- With deep sorrow, yet with the hope we have in Christ, Gloucester Pentecostal Church remembers and pays tribute to our dear sister Angel, who was called home to be with the Lord last week at the young age of 28. Angel lived a life that touched many hearts. Those who knew her remember her as a wonderful personality, a God-fearing young woman, hardworking, loving, and deeply committed to the Kingdom of God. Though her journey on earth was brief, she faithfully used her life to serve the Lord and bless others. Her life reminds us that it is not the length of our days that matters most, but how faithfully we live the days God has given us. Angel's love for God and her dedication to His Kingdom will remain a precious testimony and a lasting memory in the hearts of all who knew her. As a church family, Gloucester Pentecostal Church lovingly remembers Angel and honours her life, her faith, and her service to the Lord. We thank God for the blessing she was to so many people. Our heartfelt prayers are especially with Br. Jerome. May the Lord strengthen him in this difficult season and surround him with His unfailing love. May God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind and give him comfort each day. We also lovingly remember little Luca. May the mighty hand of God protect this precious child, guide him throughout his life, and help him to grow in the grace, knowledge, and love of our Lord Jesus Christ. May Luca's life be preserved by God's grace and become a beautiful testimony for generations to come. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord… that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." (Revelation 14:13) Angel may have left us at a young age, but her faith, her love for God, and her service to His Kingdom will never be forgotten.Rest in the presence of the Lord, dear Angel. Your life was a blessing, your memory is precious, and your testimony will continue to speak. With love and prayers, Gloucester Pentecostal Church

I received Angel's number from Sam Uncle in the US, and I called her to introduce CHRISTWAY Church. From our very first phone conversation, I could sense that she was a brilliant and thoughtful young woman. She was looking for a church in the UK that would be peaceful, joyful, and spiritually uplifting. I have always respected people who show interest in coming to Christway Church, knowing that the final decision is completely their own. When Angel first stepped into the church on that Sunday, her smile was truly contagious. She brought warmth, joy, and positivity wherever she went. Whenever she spoke to someone, it felt as though their worries faded away within seconds. She always carried a positive attitude and had a beautiful way of saying, "All is well," even when things were not easy. Angel was bold, beautiful, sweet, intelligent, and full of grace. She touched many hearts in a very short time and left behind memories that we will always cherish. Her presence brought joy to our church family, and her kindness will never be forgotten. I dearly miss my wonderful daughter Angel, and I thank God for the blessing of knowing her. Ps Jain Thomas (CHRISTWAY CHURCH)

I've struggled to find the words to express how deeply you touched my life, Angel, in the short time we knew each other. Being part of the same family and married to brothers brought us together, but the bond I felt with you was something truly special and hard to explain. The nights we spent together at home—playing, laughing, sharing stories, and making beautiful memories—keep replaying in my mind. I was so excited that we were both expecting at the same time, eagerly looking forward to meeting our little ones and sharing that journey together. You had such a kind, joyful spirit that lit up every room. Though our time together was far too short, you left an everlasting imprint on my heart. I find comfort in knowing that you peacefully embraced your final days and have reached a beautiful shore. My heart remains broken, but my soul holds onto the hope and joy of seeing you again someday. Until then, I will miss you dearly.

In Loving Memory of Angel 🤍 How it all began - London Ladies Trip I first noticed you during our ladies trip to London. That time you were pregnant, and I remember everyone taking such good care of you. I just stood nearby, watching. At the end of the trip, on our way back to the railway station, we had a little walk together. In just 15 to 20 minutes, we introduced ourselves, we laughed, we chatted... and just like that we connected. Like close friends, like we'd known each other forever. When I came back home, I told my achacha: "The trip was fine. There was a pregnant lady, her name is Angel. Earlier we didn't speak, but at the end we did. We laughed together. I liked her. She is a very beautiful soul." I didn't know then that God was bringing a special person into my life. Growing Closer - July 12 After that we would meet on Sundays in church, and message sometimes. Then on July 12, it was my achacha's birthday. We went to Basildon ground to play cricket. After the match, while we were walking to our car, Jerome asked us, "Why don't you visit our house? Angel is home. Spend some time with her." We agreed and went. The moment she heard we were coming, she welcomed us with her big, open smile. We chatted, we laughed, we played card games on the floor. Joel was with us too. So much fun, so much warmth. That was the day we became really close. I still remember how you played, how we laughed, how we spent that quality time together. My Last Birthday With You - 6th August Then came 6th August. My birthday. On the 5th August evening, you called me and said, "Pick up Joel and come to the house. My achacha and everyone is here. We'll play cards and spend time together." After work I picked up Joel from Chelmsford and went to her house. And there it was — a surprise for me. My first ever birthday surprise. Everyone wished me, gave gifts, hugs, kisses, love. We ate together, chatted, laughed. My achacha told me later, "She is the one who said we should do this. I will call chechi." That was the last birthday I celebrated with you and family. All of us together in one room. I didn't know it would be the last. The Last Time We Met The last time I saw you was at biby achacha's house during prayer. We chatted, we laughed. That's the photo of us on the stairs. After that I kept telling my achacha, "We need to spend time together. We're losing our connection." So many times you invited us to come and sit at your home... and I kept thinking "okay, next time, next time." Because of work tiredness, because of life. I never thought I wouldn't get another chance to hug you, to sit and talk with you. In church too, whenever we saw each other we would make space and talk a lot in that little time. But it was never enough. Today Today on my birthday, my heart hurts so much. I miss your "chechi" calling , your messages, your smile, your invitations. I feel so much guilt that I didn't spend more time, didn't care more, didn't support more. The moment I heard the news, I felt like I lost the most precious one from my life. But I know this: You were my angel. You turned 15 minutes into a lifetime friendship. You brought light to every room. You were a fighter. You loved deeply. I can't accept "we will meet again on the other shore" yet. It hurts too much. But I will hold these memories close forever. The trip, the cards, the surprise, the laughter. Till we meet again, I love you. I miss you. Rest in peace, my dear Angel. 🤍 And now I don't know what to speak to Jerome... How to console him... How to face him... Because a part of him left with you too. And Luca ❤️ I remember touching your baby bump and saying, "When we speak out baby, delivery..." I told you, "I am thinking it's a boy, because on my tongue it's coming 'avan... avan...'" That time you didn't reveal the baby's gender... and when you heard me, you just smiled. That smile... I got that moment in my mind very clearly. It's one of the sweetest memories I have of you. Now Luca iis growing without his mama's hug. But he will know how much his amma loved, and how much light she brought. May God bless Jerome, Luca, and the families of Angel and Jerome... and all her friends. I hope everyone will get the strength to face this. But you, Angel .. you will never be forgotten from my life. You will live in every story I tell, every laugh I remember, every "chechi calling... Till we meet again, I love you. I miss you. Rest in peace, my dear Angel. 🤍

It is really hard to believe that you are no more and my heart doesn't accept the fact. But I still have a hope that I will definitely meet you on the other shore and I am glad that you are in a peaceful place where there is no pain, no suffering and no tears. I still remember the time I met you first and from that day till this moment I haven't seen you with a sad face. The moments we shared together with laughter and joy, our conferences, chit chats on the stage, getting wrapped up for choir practices…I still have a clear picture of each and every moments and I would like to keep that lovely memories close to my heart always. Really miss you di, it was not enough for me and I was still not done. But God has a different purpose on you and I believe he knows the beginning and the end. Love you lots♥️♥️♥️

Pheba Ajith George

I still remember the day I first met Angel. She was on the stage, singing and praising God with the choir at the SFC Conference in Basildon. Among the many voices in that choir, there were a few who caught my attention, and Angel was one of them. At that moment, I never imagined that she would soon become such a precious little sister to us in Christ. In such a short time, Angel became so dear to our family. There are still places in our home that remind us of her presence—places where we spent countless hours talking about life, our physical struggles, and how faithfully Jesus carried us through each day. What always amazed me was that she never complained about her suffering. Instead, before I could even ask how she was doing, she would first make sure that I was okay. Looking back now, I understand why she was so concerned for me—we shared many of the same symptoms and struggles. The last time I spoke with her, on the Thursday before she went home to be with the Lord, her faith was unwavering. She spoke with such boldness and confidence in Christ, proclaiming the hope she had in Him. I was deeply moved and challenged by her steadfast trust. It has taken me a long time to write this because I have not yet fully come to terms with her passing. In fact, this is the first time I have written or posted anything about her. The pain of losing her is still very real, and it is difficult to move on. Yet, I hold on to the same hope that Angel so beautifully lived out—the hope we have in Jesus Christ. I trust that His perfect peace will continue to sustain and guide us until the day we, too, reach our eternal home. Angel, you are deeply missed, mone. Thank you for showing us what it means to endure suffering with grace, to love others selflessly, and to place unwavering hope in Christ. Your life was a testimony, and your faith continues to inspire us, until we meet again in His glorious presence.

Neethu Biby

There are people who walk beside us for years, and then there are people who become part of our soul. Angel was one of those people for me. Our friendship was never measured by the number of conversations we had or the places we went together. It was measured by the quiet understanding between us. She was someone whose name brought comfort, whose smile carried warmth, and whose presence made ordinary days feel lighter. She was more than a friend, she became family. Life has a strange way of making us believe that the people we love will always be there. We plan future conversations, future celebrations, and future memories, never imagining that one ordinary day could become the day everything changes. Then illness came. I watched from a distance, praying with all the faith I had. I hoped every treatment would work, every medication would help, every hour would bring better news. I believed that miracles were still possible. I whispered prayers when words failed me. I cried when no one was watching. I hoped because hope was all I had left. But sometimes, God answers prayers in ways our hearts cannot understand. The day Angel left this world, a part of mine became silent. It wasn't just the loss of a friend. It was the loss of someone who occupied a place in my life that no one else can ever fill. The world kept moving, people continued with their routines, the sun still rose the next morning but for me, time stood still. I kept expecting another message, another laugh, another chance to say, "How are you?" knowing that none of those moments would ever come again. Grief is a strange companion. It appears in the quiet moments in a familiar song, an empty chair, an old photograph, or a memory that arrives without warning. Sometimes it comes as tears. Sometimes it comes as silence. Sometimes it comes as an ache so deep that words cannot describe it. People often say that time heals all wounds. I don't think that's entirely true. Time doesn't erase love, and because it doesn't erase love, it cannot completely erase grief. Instead, time teaches us how to carry both love and loss together. I still miss Angel. I miss the person she was, the kindness she carried, and the way she made people feel seen and loved. I miss the conversations we will never have and the memories we will never get to create. There are days when I wish I could tell her one more story, hear her laugh one more time, or simply thank her for being part of my life. Yet, even in my sorrow, I choose to believe that death does not have the final word. Our friendship was a gift, and gifts from God are never wasted. Angel's life continues to echo in every life she touched, including mine. Her kindness has become part of who I am. Her memory reminds me to love people more deeply, forgive more quickly, and never take another day for granted. One day, when my own journey on earth is complete, I believe we will meet again, not in a hospital room filled with pain, not with tears or goodbyes, but in the presence of God, where there is no more suffering, no more sickness, and no more death. Until that day, I will carry Angel in my heart. Not because I cannot let her go, but because true love never asks us to. Some people leave this world far too soon, but they never truly leave the hearts of those who loved them. Angel will always be one of those people. And every time I look toward heaven, I will remember that while heaven gained a beautiful soul, my heart learned what it truly means to miss someone with every beat.

Angel was truly a beautiful soul, both inside and out. Her kindness, love, and gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Angel had a special way of making people feel seen and cared for. Whether you met her for a few moments or knew her for many years, she left a lasting impression. Her compassion, humility, and cheerful nature made her unforgettable. As a nurse, Angel dedicated her life to caring for others. She served with compassion, patience, and selflessness, bringing healing not only through her professional skills but also through her gentle words, warm presence, and loving heart. She treated every person with dignity and care, making a lasting difference in countless lives. May the Lord strengthen and comfort her loving husband, her precious baby, her parents, and everyone grieving this great loss. Until we meet again in the presence of our Lord, Angel, you will always be loved, remembered, and cherished.

In Loving Memory of Angel Mini Mathew (28 years) Gone too soon from our sight, but forever held in our hearts. A faithful nurse. A cherished daughter of God. A loving mother. And truly — as her name so beautifully declared — a real Angel among us. Angel was an active member of Christway Church, a joyful voice in our Choir, and a wonderful Sunday School teacher. Always smiling, she shone Christ's love wherever she went — in the church, and with compassion at Basildon University Hospital, where she served so faithfully as a nurse. During her sickness, she remained bold in faith. She would say, "Don't worry. God has taken care of me. I don't fear death." When a few brothers visited her in hospital, our hearts were so heavy we could barely speak — yet God opened Angel's mouth. For nearly twenty minutes she spoke to us of God's Word, encouraging us, when we had come to encourage her. She also shared that her admission to hospital came just after our 21 days of fasting and prayer had ended, and that God was allowing this sickness so that the church could continue in strong prayer even after the fasting season was over. Even in pain — unable to eat with her hand because of her finger — she taught us gratitude, saying we should thank God for every finger He has given, for we know their true value when we can no longer use them. She leaves behind her beloved husband and their precious seven-month-old baby — and a living testimony of courage, faith, and kindness that will never be forgotten. We thank God for her life, and we hold her family close in our prayers. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." — Matthew 5:4 Rest in Jesus' arms, dear Angel.
